we are
All of the professionals at the Eating Problems Service have specialised
in helping people overcome issues of eating and body image.
Meet our founders:

Mary Wood
Mary Wood is a UKCP therapist who has a private practice based in
West London where she specialises in eating disorders and weight management.
She previously worked as a consultant in stress management. She also
runs workshops for adolescents on body image and self esteem.

Tracy Goodman
Tracy Goodman is a BACP accredited counsellor who manages a counselling
service for a national airline where she is experienced in dealing
with post traumatic stress. She also runs a private practice in West
London for people with eating disorders.

Eileen Murphy
Eileen Murphy has managed a psychiatric rehabilitation service, and
an eating disorder unit. She has conducted a special study the effects
of food on mental health, and written a Health Authority care programme
on the treatment of eating disorders.

Amy Alexander
Amy Alexander is a trained counsellor and an individual member of
the BACP. She has a private practice based in North London where she
specializes in eating disorders and family support work. Amy has a
particular interest in Anorexia and she also runs workshops on eating
disorders for adults and adolescents.

Rosemary Helyer
Rosemary Helyer is a BACP counsellor who has a practice in Wiltshire
and also offers counselling in GP practice. She has specialist training
in eating disorders and bereavement. She is developing her special
interest in obesity through group work.
